At BrightFoot Soccer Academy, we believe excellence isn’t accidental—it’s engineered. Our mission is to refine raw talent into elite performance through private, precision-focused soccer training tailored to the individual athlete.
Leading the academy is Sebastian Romanowski, our Founder, CEO, and Head Coach, whose journey from a six-year-old prodigy to a global-level player and elite coach defines everything BrightFoot stands for.
Born and raised in Poland, Sebastian launched his career at Podhale Nowy Targ, where he swiftly rose through the ranks—from U-17 to the Senior Team in a matter of months. Competing in Poland’s 4th Division semi-professional league, he stood out not only for his technical ability, but for a relentless mindset built on discipline, detail, and tunnel-vision dedication.
After moving to the United States, Sebastian expanded his coaching arsenal with a U.S. Soccer License B. He also holds a Professional Certificate in Goalkeeper Coaching Science (Pro Youth Level) and a Flash Reflex (FRX) Trainer Certification—making him a rare hybrid of tactical coach and advanced performance trainer.
His passion for high-performance sports extends beyond the soccer field. Sebastian is an active Floorball player with the Chicago Dogs Club, and a Pro Player in the North American Floorball League (NAFL). He currently serves as an active coach within the Olympic Development Program for Illinois Youth Soccer, where he continues to mentor youth athletes with his signature one-on-one, skill-focused methodology.
